With over 48 million blooming flowers in a 72,000sqm area, Miracle Garden in Dubai is one the largest, prettiest and most colorful gardens in the world. I felt like Alice in Wonderland dancing around the bright and colorful flower displays in this magical oasis in the desert.
From cute flower covered peacocks, windmills, boats, heart shaped flower walkways, flower covered houses that look like magical castles, a giant floral clock and a food court underneath a million different colourful umbrellas, the landscape at the Miracle Garden is enchanting….
The Dubai Miracle Garden operates from October to April and remains closed from June to September due to the hot weather. Each year the garden closes for a few months to refresh itself with new concepts and designs.
It’s currently in its 5th season and the highlight of the Miracle Garden this year is the A380 plane….Emirates teamed up with the Miracle Garden to construct the world’s largest floral installation through a life-size version of the Emirates A380 airplane, which is covered in more than 500,000 fresh flowers and living plants. You can watch a video of it being built here
My advice if you want to take photos there is: Go early! We got there right after it opened and we managed to snap a lot of photos before the rest of the tourists turned up and from then on it was almost impossible to get a photo without someone in the background.
