Face masks are definitely my skincare weakness. There’s nothing better than lathering on a deep cleansing/exfoliating/hydrating mask at the end of a busy day and just relaxing. It was pretty hard to narrow it down to only 10 as I have an entire drawer full and love them all, but here are the one’s that made the final cut…
Soap and Glory – No Clogs Allowed
I’m a big fan of Soap & Glory (both their skincare range and their make up) This mask is great for unblocking pores, it heats up when you rub it on and because it contains beads inside it doubles as a scrub aswell as a mask. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth as a baby’s bottom.
First Aid Beauty – Skin Rescue Purifying Mask with Red Clay
One of the many products from First Aid Beauty that I love. This mask helps to minimizes pores, reduces blackheads, soften my skin and balances any oiliness. Plus it’s a peel off mask and that’s always fun…
Ren – Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask
One of the pricer masks but also one of my absolute favorites and one I repurchase over and over again. It brightens my skintone, minimizes pores, diminishes hyperpigmentation, and leaves my face feeling super soft, smooth and you can see instant results.
Origins Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay
A two-in-one purifying mask and skin refiner that’s formulated with Canadian willowherb, Persian silk tree, and a potent blend of actives to smooth, refine pores, and boost skin’s overall quality. I’m a major Origins fan and this mask is one of my favorites, my skin is noticeably smoother and brighter after using it…plus it’s pink!!! need I say more.
Super Facialist Salicylic Acid Anti Blemish Clay Mask
Love, love, love this! Very reasonably priced compared to some of the others yet it works wonders! It clears your skin of dirt, excessive oils and toxins which lead to breakouts and it contains salicylic acid proven to help unclog congested skin and oil-absorbing Dead Sea Mud rich in magnesium, calcium, potassium and iron for the perfect detox facial at home.
Liz Earle – Deep Cleansing Mask
Who doesn’t love Liz Earle products? i’ve been hooked since I started using them about 6 years ago and have been repurchasing ever since. This concentrated clay and botanical mask helps draw out impurities to leave skin balanced and calm. The colour and smell can be off putting to some people (like my boyfriend!) but it does exactly what it says on the tin, so to speak. It also comes with a sponges which compliments it very well and is lovely to remove it with.
REN Pore Minimising Detox Mask
Another REN mask that I love and swear by. This mask works to draw out the skin’s impurities, reducing the appearance of blackheads or open pores. I can definitely see an improvement after using this.
Glamglow Youthmud and Supermud
What the experts say: This mud mask leaves skin noticeably radiant and glowing. It works with the body’s natural moisturizing collagen to provide gentle resurfacing exfoliation and helps to leave skin smoother, brighter, and softer……And i’d have to agree, although pricier than this is one of my favorite masks to use. I ignored the Glamglow hype for awhile, but once i’d tried a sample I got – I was hooked. It both cleanses (with kaolin) and exfoliates (with pumice), and afterwards my skin has a noticeable glow.
Lush Love Lettuce
I have tried most of Lush’s fresh face masks but this is by far my favorite. Love Lettuce is an exfoliating ground almond mask that scoops up dirt, oil and debris and washes it all away. It blends calming French lavender oil with seaweed and honey to nourish and soften skin, and to balance oily T-zones. Definitely recommended!
