Back in December I was lucky enough to goto Dubai and while I was there we got to visit the amazing Burj Al Arab. Built on a man-made island, construction of the Burj Al Arab began in 1993 and was completed in 1999. The Burj Al Arab is one of the most iconic buildings in Dubai and its unique sail-like shape is easy to spot from a far. If you have ever been to Dubai then it will come as no surprise that you will find “the world’s only 7-star hotel” there…..
The hotel has also often been voted the world’s most luxurious hotel and I can see why. The Burj Al Arab has 202 luxurious duplex suites, 5 swimming pools, 9 world-class restaurants and bars and the most gorgeous spa. Guests can arrive at the Burj Al Arab by either a chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce or a helicopter transfer service, this hotel really is the epitome of luxury.
If you want to visit the Burj Al Arab, you can only do so if you are a hotel guest or you have reservations to one of its restaurants. If you don’t have a spare couple of thousand dollars lying around for a nights stay, the high tea at the Skyview Bar would be a good choice.
Here are some of my photos from around the hotel and one of the incredible restaurants called Al Iwan that we dined in one evening. As you can see the interior is very colorful, which if you follow me on Instagram you’ll know is my cup of tea. 🙂
