Last week we went on a little trip to Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort & Spa in Antalya, Turkey. After a really long drive down the coast, we arrived just in time to explore our new home for the next 4 days.
Cornelia Diamond is in an area of Antalya called Belek with it’s own beach and an ultra all inclusive system. There are 8 swimming pools, a beach, a water park, mini golf area, bowling & games room, tennis courts and a 27 hole golf course. There is certainly no time to be bored at Cornelia!
Awell as the main restaurant, they have a number of A’la carte restaurants which for a small fee (€10 per person) you can dine at. We tried Tai Pen which serves Asian food, Sumack their Turkish restaurant, Forest Pub (amazing tacos!) and Fish & Love. All of them were so delicious and the quality of food was very high.
Every night there was really good entertainment in the amphitheater, we watched magic shows and a variety of different dance acts. After they had finished at around 10.30pm there was usually either live music or they transformed a corner of the garden into a nightclub with lazers and DJs, it was awesome.
We spent 2 nights of in a three-storey Diamond Suite, which had it’s own indoor pool on the ground floor. Our other 2 nights were spent in an Azure Villa which is set slightly back from the main hotel with views over the golf course. I loved this the most, it was really peaceful so you could relax during the day but if you wanted entertainment and to be in the midst of the action you could walk over to the main hotel.
The villa itself was beautiful, I could have quite happily moved in permanently. With a large salt water pool running infront of the villas and a cozy outdoor space with a hammock, it was the perfect place to chill. Azure Restaurant was a stones throw away from our villa and you could order food from there 24/7. They were really accommodating and happily took requests for things they didn’t have on the menu.
Whilst we were there I got to have my first ever golf lesson! Cornelia Diamond has it’s own 27 hole signature course designed by Nick Faldo. Golf is certainly not as easy as it looks, at times I had trouble even hitting the ball, but it was a lot of fun.
We had such a nice time at Cornelia Diamond hotel. The food, the staff, the pools, the rooms were all wonderful. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Antalya I would highly recommend it. 🙂
