In December we were lucky enough to be flown to Dubai for a fun packed 7 days. During this time we stayed at the Four Seasons at Jumeirah Beach.
Nestled between the Arabian Gulf and Dubai’s cityscape, Four Seasons Jumeirah has a great location – only 15 minutes from downtown Dubai in one direction and 15 minutes from the Madinat Jumeirah and the Burj Al Arab in the other. This was an ideal location for us as we spent a lot of time at both these places.
The hotel, which is a large Arabian-style beach resort with 237 rooms, is home to 5 restaurants (such as Sea Fu, Suq and rooftop Mercury Lounge) a luxury spa, indoor pool, gym, it’s own private beach and 2 stunning outdoor swimming pools (one of which is adults only) shaded by leafy green palm trees.
Our room was a Deluxe City View and was beautiful, with a walk in closet, massive bathroom with a freestanding tub, his and hers sinks and one of the most comfortable beds i’ve ever slept in!
We spent most of our time out and about exploring and eating our way around the city, so we didn’t get to try any of the restaurants but breakfast every morning on the terrace at Suq was a pleasure. They had so many choices – my favourite being the poached eggs followed by crepes with nutella (they also had a whole bunch of different ice cream flavours to choose from!)
When we did spend some time by the pool it was very relaxing. Poolside service was very good, with the staff always being around to put towels on the sun-loungers and bring you cold water in small cooler bags.
All in all it was a great stay. It was not my first time at a Four Seasons Hotel but they all have the same exquisite standard, offer great service and attention to detail in luxurious, beautiful settings.
