Urban Decay eyeshadow in Dive Bar
Fell in love with the color as soon as I saw it. Great quality as Urban Decay’s eyeshadows always are. Good pigment, blends well. Also looks nice when worn as an accent colour under the lower lash line or on the upper lash line.
Dior – Dior Snow BB Cream SPF 50
A four-in-one – a moisturiser, a treatment, a sunblock and provides light to medium coverage depending on how much you apply. It applies really nice and provides a no makeup look just like your second skin. The finish is luminous and although I do generally prefer matte this is lovely in the warm (hot) Summer months when you want something lighter than foundation with a great SPF in it too.
Urban Decay Naked skin concealer in Light neutral
Lovely, lightweight formula, provides high coverage, is blend-able and applies smoothly. It just melts into the skin but doesn’t sit in fine lines or wrinkles and doesn’t crease. My fave concealer to date.
By Terry Ombre Blackstar eyeshadow in Misty Rock
Although not the kindest on your pocket, these eyeshadow sticks are a winner in my eyes. The formula is super creamy, they’re super easy to blend and they last all day long. I have a couple of different shades but this colour is just incredible and by far my favourite!
Nails Inc Gel Effect in Covent Garden Place & Nails Inc Gel Effect in Queens Garden
Perfect Summer nail polish colours!
Clarins Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster
Perfect for when your face tends to be a shade lighter than your neck because of suntan cream/hat etc. This is usually a good product for those Winter months but i’ve been using it a lot this Summer. It gives you a subtle natural glow, just mix as much or as little with your daily face lotion as you like.
Maybelline Baby Lips Balm and Blush in Flirty Pink
Not a whole lot to say on this asides from the fact that it’s moisturising for your lips and is pink. Not a groundbreaking lip product by any means but it keeps my lips hydrated and soft.
Guerlain Météorites Illuminating Powder Pearls
Love the packaging and the looks of these colorful little balls. They add prettiest finish to my face and brighten my whole look.
Sunday Riley Good Genes
Last of the beauty products but by no means least – Sunday Riley’s Good Genes. I love love love love love (get the picture?) this stuff. By far my favourite product of the last month. It stings a little (both the face and the purse at a whooping 85 pounds) makes my skin a little red but overall really brightens, tones my skin and you can see results pretty much straight away.
Audible books
I’ve been loving Audible this month. It can never replace an actual book but this Summer I have swapped squinty eye reading by the pool for listening to someone else read to me. Fave books so far have definitely been by Jojo Moyes – Me Before You and After You. Perfect Summer chick lits!
Foreo Luna Mini
I bought the big size Foreo Luna for my mum last year and she loved it so much I made a cheeky purchase of my own! It’s a facial brush that channels T-Sonic pulsations through soft silicone touch-points for deep cleansing. I had the Clarasonic Mia but I much prefer this. I use it every night paired with my favourite cleanser and my face always feels so soft and smooth afterwards.
Colourful dresses
For someone that loves colors, I am most definitely all about the neutrals when it comes to clothes…(whites, browns, beiges and blacks) so this Summer I have tried to incorporate more colours into my wardrobe. I love these H&m dresses as they are perfect for those warm days when you just want to throw on something light and comfortable.
That’s it for this month. I can’t believe July is over already, have a great August everyone!
