Last Summer I was kindly gifted some Oskia skincare products to try. Having used them regularly since then, I thought i’d write my thoughts the products ive tried out!
I’ve been a fan of the award winning skincare brand Oskia for a long time as their Renaissance Cleansing Gel has been my holy grail cleanser for years, so I was excited to try out what else this brand has to offer.
Oskia was founded in 2009 by Georgie Cleeve when she decided to harness the power of MSM into natural and largely organic beauty products. A natural form of organic sulphur that boosts collagen production, promotes circulation and helps decrease inflammation for a brighter, younger looking complexion.
Oskia Super C Smart Nutrient Beauty Capsules
This was the product I was most excited to try and let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint! These capsules work wonders, I have tried so many different Vitamin C’s but these are my favourite. I have hyperpigmentation and although it hasn’t disappeared I definitely see an improvement since using these and they leave my skin bright and glowing. I also love how easy they are to use and you don’t waste a drop, you just twist off the top of the capsule and release a perfect size dose of the serum.
Oskia Super 16 Pro-Collagen Serum
Designed to tackle the many signs of ageing this powerful serum is said to target and minimise the appearance of wrinkles, dark spots and fine lines. Although it’s on the pricer side at £92 for 30ml, a little goes a long way. It’s a nice serum with a delicate scent of rose and a light texture that doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky. I have definitely noticed a difference since using it, I apply it at night and my skin always feels so nice and hydrated in morning.
Oskia SPF 30 vitamin face cream
This is one of their latest products, launched last year. It’s described as being a 100% mineral, marine friendly, broad spectrum daily defence SPF30, which has cooling hydra-protect technology, potent anti-oxidant, health boosting and calming properties. I don’t leave the house without SPF so I was glad to try this. I have been wearing it in the Winter months as I usually wear SPF 50 during the Summer. It glides on effortlessly, is weightless and sits very nicely under my foundation.
Oskia Adaptive Tan Tri-Phase Self-Tanning Drops
I’m always on the lookout for a good facial tanner. I have melasma so as an avid hat wearer, I never let my face go in the sun which means i’m always on the pale side. I use a couple of different face tanners, my favourites being Tan Luxe and Clarins’ Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster. Well, this has now pushed them off the top spot. It’s expensive but worth every penny. Mix a few drops in with your moisturiser or serum and within a couple of days your face will be left looking so naturally sun kissed, people will think you’ve been lounging on a beach in the Maldives for a week.
Oskia Liquid Mask Lactic Acid Micro-Peel
I love this acid! I have sensitive skin and this works gently but effectively in reducing clogged pores and hyperpigmentation. I apply it at night and in the morning I wake up with smooth, hydrated skin. A staple in my skincare routine now!
Oskia Nutri-Bronze Adaptive Sheer Tinted Serum
I really like this hybrid product which you can use as a bronzer or all over your face. It’s very lightweight and blends into the skin effortlessly giving you a gorgeous glow. I usually apply it after my morning skin care routine when I dont want to wear a heavy foundation and just add some concealer and blusher for a healthy and glowy look.
The smell and texture of this scrub are lovely. It’s also perfect for those of us with sensitive skin as it’s really gentle and leaves my skin feeling like a baby’s bottom, not tight or dry like some scrubs do. Will definitely be repurchasing when it runs out.
