Where was your first plane to?
Portugal. My aunt has a house out there so myself, my parents and my grandfather went out to stay with her. I was so young I don’t remember much about it just what my mum has told me.
Where have you travelled to that you would love to visit again?
Disneyworld, Florida and Lapland, Finland at Christmas time. Both were utterly magical in their own way and something i’d love to experience again although it would be very different this time as I went when I was young and still believed in father Christmas.
You’re leaving tomorrow, money is no object, where are you going?
Round the world trip! There is no way I could choose any one place. Although there are a couple of countries at the top of my travel list such as; Japan, Indonesia and Australia
Preferred method of travel; planes, trains or car?
That depends on where I’m going. Planes are obviously the quickest but if you’re talking about traveling inside a country then I prefer roadtrips in the car or the train because you get to see more of the area that way.
Why do you love to travel?
I love exploring new places, meeting new people and learning about different cultures. My grandfather used to travel the World and sail around the World in his boat. He used to write me postcards from all the countries he’d visited and bring me back something from wherever he’d been such as pieces of volcanic rock and once an ocarina (which I did actually learn to play at the time) I think that’s what instilled the travel bug in me and why I went on to study Travel and Tourism.

Trip Advisor for sure. Love reading and leaving reviews on there.
Where would you travel to just eat the food?
Japan! I would just eat all day long as Japanese food is my favourite cuisine. Or Italy just so I could stuff my face on pizza, pasta and gelato.
Do you prefer the Window, Aisle, or Middle seat?
Definitely Aisle, just because I like to a) have access to my bag in the overhead lockers without asking someone to move and b) I like to get off the plane as fast as possible.
How do you pass the time on the air plane?
I always rent a movie on iTunes and watch it on my iPad as that is what passes the time for me the quickest. Other than that I read trashy mags or a good old chick lit and sleep.
Hostel or hotel?
Hotels. I’ve only ever stayed in a hostel one (Amsterdam) and I wouldn’t want to do that again in a hurry.
Top three travel items?
My Camera/GoPro, my phone and my GhDs (I can’t live without them)
Do you prefer summer or winter?
Summer because I love the beach but I do love snow too, so..both really. At the end of September I’ve had enough of Summer and i’m always glad of some cooler temperatures and rain (that must be the Brit in me)
